Lacuna was founded in early 2020 by Tanushree Singh, a multidisciplinary artist based in Goa. What began as a sabbatical into early experiments in ceramics, evolved from functional tableware to sculptural art collectibles and most recently to wearable art that bridges the gap between craft and contemporary expression. Tanushree's artistic practice spans ceramics, photography, wax carving & metalsmithing - creating visual narratives that challenge conventional boundaries between mediums.

Her work has been featured in leading publications including Architectural Digest, Vogue, Elle, Platform Magazine, The Hindu etc. In March 2024, her ceramic series "Memory" was exhibited at the Museum of Goa, followed by Goa Open Arts Fundraiser exhibition in January 2025.
